What a joy it was to share Call Me Gebyanesh with children and families at the beautiful Mendon Public Library in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day! On January 19, 2026, I joined young readers in the Jacobs Family Reading Room for a special story time. It was a perfect fit for the spirit of the day!

I was honored to be a panelist at the annual NYS Reading Association Conference in Buffalo with four other authors whose books on Social-Emotional Learning have tie-ins to curriculum (11/11/25)

Rochester Area Children's Writers and Books longstanding "Festival To Go" program brought RACWI authors into classrooms across the Rochester City School District. I had the pleasure of presenting Call Me Gebyanesh to two classes at School 4 - and every child went home with a signed copy! (10/29/2025)

I'm so honored that my book, Call Me Gebyanesh, co-authored with Gebyanesh Addisu, is going out to Jewish families with 8-year-olds in a PJ Library edition this month (10/4/2025)
